Opportunity for the Future (OFTF) is a nonprofit organization founded by Vietnamese-American pioneers who share a deep belief in the power of education to change lives. We are devoted to creating access to quality education and training—especially for children and women in underserved and rural communities.

Why Children?

Because children are the foundation of every society. When we invest in their education, we plant the seeds for a stronger, healthier, and more prosperous future. But too many children, especially in disadvantaged regions, are denied the right to learn due to poverty, geography, or lack of support. OFTF exists to ensure that every child has the opportunity to dream, grow, and build a future filled with possibilities—regardless of where they were born.

Why Women?

Because when you educate a woman, you educate a generation. Women play a vital role in families, communities, and economies—yet they are often the first to be left behind when access to education is limited. OFTF empowers girls and women with education and skills that lead to greater independence, better health outcomes, stronger families, and more resilient communities. Investing in women’s education is one of the most effective ways to break the cycle of poverty and drive lasting social change.
